Click here for our preview coverage of new natural refrigerant products at the world’s premier trade show for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technology: Chillventa 2016.
This year’s edition of the Chillventa tradeshow, taking place in the German city of Nürnberg from 11-13 October, will see the world’s biggest display of natural refrigerant technology so far. Some 188 companies will exhibit natural-refrigerant based solutions, up from 120 in 2014. This increase reflects the rapid evolution of natural refrigerants over the last two years worldwide.
This year’s edition is expected to beat all previous records, attracting some 1,000 exhibitors and over 30,000 trade visitors from all over the world.
Below is a snapshot of the exciting new technologies on offer from exhibiting companies using CO2, ammonia, water, air and hydrocarbon technologies:
British company Henry Technologies is a global manufacturer of a wide range of refrigeration components for use with CO2 systems. Specialising in controls and safety, it will be showcasing this portfolio in Nuremberg at this year’s Chillventa.
GEA, one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the food industry and a wide range of other sectors, including compressors and heat pumps for ammonia and CO2 refrigeration shows off new products in their existing ranges.
Innovative heat pumps for potato chip driers and the London Underground are helping keep German manufacturer GEA at the forefront of the ammonia industrial refrigeration market. At Chillventa next month the company will launch another new heat pump, the RedAstrum.
To help visitors to the tradeshow navigate their way through the vast array of natural refrigerant solutions, shecco (publisher of Accelerate Europe, r744.com, ammonia21.com, hydrocarbons21.com) is issuing its ‘GUIDE Chillventa 2016’. The GUIDE will be distributed free of charge during the event and is available now.
